MEET MARINE DIFILIPPO

Dear guest, I am truly honored that you have found my page. Please allow me to tell you a bit about myself. I was born in Leninakan, Armenia, to Syrian Armenian parents. When I was 15 years old, my family and I migrated to the United States in pursuit of the American dream.

My journey began at Hollywood High School, where I completely immersed myself in my studies in order to learn a new, foreign language. I fell in love with the English language and graduated Hollywood High with the highest of honors and decided to major in English to prep myself for law school. My undergraduate studies began at the University of La Verne. While earning my bachelor’s degree, I started tutoring English to my peers at the university’s Learning Enhancement Center. This was a pivotal point in my life because I fell in love with the art of teaching and giving of myself and serving others.

One of the most rewarding experiences of my life was when I volunteered to help rebuild an orphanage in a small Mexican village during Spring break my sophomore year in college. My eyes still well up with tears every time I remember the children’s surprised faces when they saw their new, refurbished orphanage. I also spent a few summers volunteering as a counselor at various children’s camps, further developing my love of teaching young children.

During my senior year, I knew deep down that I was better suited to be a teacher rather than an attorney. I graduated University of La Verne with high honors and wanted to expand my studies in the Fine Arts. I decided to explore the world and pursued a master’s degree in European Studies at the University of Amsterdam. With a lot of hard work and dedication, I completed my master’s degree in a year with top honors. Shortly after arriving back home, I started teaching English at a middle school.

My love for teaching younger children grew stronger when I became a mother. Soon thereafter, I discovered that I really enjoyed teaching younger children one-on-one, and that is when my love for child developmental therapy began. As a mother of two amazing human beings, I have always loved children and seem to connect with them very quickly and deeply on an emotional, soul level. This is where the magic of successful therapy happens. If there is no bond between the therapist and child, not much progress will be made. I would like to thank the Universal Intelligence for guiding me to work with children with special needs and autism. I am truly blessed that my soul has led me on this special path to serve young children who are developmentally challenged and need a little extra tender, loving care. I am honored to fully give of myself to each child and help them achieve their developmental milestones. Each child I have ever worked with has enriched my soul and has touched my heart with their pure being.

When I was six years old, I lost my heavenly mother to breast cancer. This heartbreaking experience has led me to my passion of working with young children. It has also inspired me to become the woman I am today, both as a loving mother and as a compassionate child developmental therapist. At a very young age, I learned that LOVE is all we need to thrive and survive. My mission in life is to give and extend as much love to as many young children as I can. If I can give one advice to my clients it is to love your children unconditionally and always speak to them with kindness and compassion.

I truly believe I am living my life’s purpose by providing my services as a child developmental therapist. I have always been a natural nurturer; it is who I am at my core. I am naturally magnetized to young children, and I am happy to say the feeling is mutual. My clients call me “The Baby Whisperer.” With 20 years of experience working with children, I am blessed to do what I love as I serve and help each child and be part of their amazing journey. There is nothing more gratifying than to witness my young clients make big progress in their developmental milestones. I would be honored to work with your little ones and make a big impact in their lives.

Thank you for visiting my page.
